VINTAGE CIRCA 1950s - 1960s ERA, DESIGNER SIGNED "ESEMCO",
MADE BY SHIMAN MANUFACTURING CO. INC., MADE IN USA,
ART DECO INSPIRED AND DESIGNED,
10K WHITE GOLD WITH 0.05 CT SAPPHIRE ACCENT,
NECKLACE PENDANT
MEASURES 1" LONG x 11/16" WIDE,
TOTAL WEIGHT OF ONLY 0.9 GRAMS
Shows typical light wear from use and storage, including minor surface marks and scratches.  It has been gently hand polished and ultrasonic cleaned in a mild dish soap, and it has nice shine, and is very clean.  It is straight, not bent, has no personal monograms or engravings, stone has nice clarity, comes with the original soldered shut bail, with no major issues at all.
Top is very nicely done Art Deco streamlined design with a blue sapphire gemstone in the center set in an illusion setting.  It is hallmarked on the back of the cross 10K ESEMCO, which was a trademarked brand of jewelry made by Shiman Manufacturing Co., Inc. (1906-1988), historic and listed USA jewelry maker, well known for their Christian and Catholic style fine jewelry.  Stone was tested with a Gemlogis Ciel tester and confirms sapphire, while it was measured with a gemstone gauge tool at approximately 0.05 carats.
