    Description

    Here's  EVERSHARP "5TH AVENUE"  repeater mechanical pencil from about 1943 and in DUBONNET RED.  This pencil is  5-1/4" long and with gold filled top and trim.  All gold filled components are in excellent finish condition. The top is radially lined and marked EVERSHARP, 1/10 14K Y.G.F.  PAT. MADE IN THE USA  on its upper band. The clip, which is a little loose and can be wiggled slightly, is marked only with the  double check logo.  The pencil uses .046" lead and operates perfectly.  Removing  the repeater button reveals  extra lead in the magazine. The old eraser was hardened and nearly expended, so I replaced it with a new old stock SHEAFFER A-size eraser.. a good fit, but the old eraser included if you'd rather. Outstanding condition.
