Antique Ornate Figural Peruzzi Pendant & Necklace
This period necklace is beautifully hand made with remarkable details. The medallion features a center crest, with a double-tailed  mermaid figure at the base and a male bearded figure at the top.  The crest is flanked by two standing cherubs.  There are five ornate pieces hanging from the base that feature ribbed spheres. The medallion measures 2"w x 3.5" h.
The necklace features links that match the links and spheres on the medallion. It incudes four detailed figures that include a Griffon (winged lion), a wolf on a Roma base, a lion with staff on a Firenze base, and two figures on a gondola. The necklace measures 20.5".
Total length of necklace and medallion is 24".  The medallion matches the necklace and all pieces appear original.  As the photos show, this piece needs cleaning, but I chose to leave it with the original and beautiful  patina.  I could find neither the silver mark nor the maker's mark, but it is attributed to unsigned Peruzzi.
