antique Gorham sterling napkin ring with doves

Description

Stunning and substantial Gorham napkin ring with two Doves on a branch perched on top.
Beautifully chased and the birds have nicely detailed feathers and features.
The napkin ring is band form with the top expanding to a circular platform on which the birds are perched.
Monogrammed on the bottom “Annie”
In wonderful condition- with minor age-appropriate surface wear.
Marked with Gorham lion, anchor, and Gothic “G” on the underside of the top.
On the other side of the underside, it is marked 370 A.
The “A” is the date mark for 1868.
“370” is presumably the style number.
The napkin ring weighs 69.4 grams.    2 38" Long x 1 38th" at its widest and ~ 1.5" high
This was donated to the Episcopal Church of Our Saviour, Brookline (oursaviourbrookline.org) by a prominent Connecticut Family. The entire proceeds of the sale go to the church...
